You will be given instructions on how to prepare for the treatment. Take a break from waxing, plucking, or hair bleaching for at least six weeks before your laser hair removal. This will preserve the roots of the hairs, which are necessary for damaging the follicle correctly. You may shave the night or morning before your appointment.
